Where the Elite Captain appears
The Elite Captain is the named target for the Evil Purge quest. Start from the Ancestral Tower in Hallowgrove on Chaos mode, clear the approach, and treat the target room as an objective route rather than an open-ended boss farm.
- Read the quest state before leaving camp.
- Mark the nearest extraction before entering the tower route.
- Keep the approach clear before starting the final encounter.
How to prepare
Bring a build that can control a close approach and still keep one answer for the return trip. The best setup is the one that leaves enough stamina, healing, and mobility to finish the objective and leave the tower.
- Use a frontline or control build when the approach is crowded.
- Keep one defensive resource for the captain's recovery window.
- Do not spend the full kit on the enemies outside the objective room.
Finish the Evil Purge run
Defeating the Elite Captain is only the middle of the route. Confirm the objective, collect the quest progress, and shorten the route to extraction before optional loot turns a completed objective into a lost run.
- Check that the quest objective has updated.
- Protect the carrier during the return rotation.
- Leave through the safest available Hallowgrove marker.
