A defensive affix direction for builds that need more time to hold an interaction or survive the first contact.
- When the run ends because the hunter cannot survive long enough to finish the next action.
- Pick one primary direction before adding secondary stats.
- Pair every priority with a weapon or skill that uses it.
Write the priority order / route timing
Prioritize it on solo extraction routes and objective carriers before chasing a perfect offensive roll.
- Sword & Shield, Psionic Shield, and Spirit Shield all convert the extra time into a reset.
- Aegis is strongest when it buys a specific action; stacking it without a route goal only slows the build.
- Compare Aegis with the alternatives before spending a rare material.
Keep, replace, or skip
Keep Aegis when it makes the next route decision clearer. Replace it when another option solves the same problem with less risk, cost, or setup.
- Open the related class, build, or map before the next hunt.
- Test the choice on the route where it is meant to work.
- Save the working direction in the Build Planner or field library.
