Protect replacement funds
The first economy goal is not the most expensive upgrade. Keep enough currency and supplies to run the class you are learning again after a bad extraction, then spend the surplus on the next meaningful improvement.
- Separate replacement money from long-term upgrade money.
- Use budget kits while learning a new map or weapon.
- Do not sell a rare material before checking its next craft or quest use.
Choose one upgrade path
Progress accelerates when a run has a destination. Pick the weapon, armor, or camp step that fixes the failure ending the most runs, then route materials toward that step instead of spreading every resource across the library.
- Identify the failure before choosing the stat.
- Upgrade the item that appears in every run before a luxury sidegrade.
- Use the Gear Finder to connect the desired piece to its class and route.
Make farming repeatable
A profitable route is one you can shorten when the lobby becomes dangerous. Set a minimum haul, mark the nearest extraction, and leave as soon as the target is met so the next run begins with momentum.
- Use Hallowgrove for low-risk material loops while learning.
- Move into fortress or boss routes only when the reward pays for the added risk.
- Review the haul at camp and restock before committing the remainder.
