Graphics Settings
Tune visibility, frame pacing, and effects so attack tells stay readable in crowded fights.
Set the baseline
Begin with the display mode, resolution, frame cap, and input response that your system can hold during a real extraction fight. A stable baseline makes every later change measurable.
- Use exclusive fullscreen or the most stable borderless mode for your system.
- Cap frames below the point where combat frame time begins to spike.
- Test in a crowded PvE room instead of only in camp.
Tune visibility first
Reduce the settings that hide attack tells or create sudden frame-time spikes before lowering texture quality. The player should be able to read silhouettes, spell zones, and the route to extraction at a glance.
- Lower effects and shadows when overlapping abilities become unclear.
- Keep textures higher when VRAM allows so loot and terrain remain readable.
- Use consistent brightness and field of view while learning a route.
Verify the change
Change one setting, restart when the game or driver requires it, and repeat the same route. If the frame rate is stable but movement still snaps, investigate connection or input latency separately.
- Record frame pacing during traversal, combat, and extraction.
- Separate shader stutter from network rubber-banding.
- Keep the last stable profile so an update can be compared against it.
