Build a priority list
Affixes are useful when they turn a vague wish into an upgrade order. Start with the stat that changes the way the build plays, then add the stat that protects its weakest step.
- Pick one primary affix direction.
- Use a defensive secondary when the build dies before its rotation completes.
- Do not chase a perfect roll before the route itself is stable.
Read the trade-off
Every affix competes with another opportunity. A small amount of damage can be worse than stamina, recovery, or control when the map forces repeated rotations.
- Compare the stat to the mode you actually play.
- Use the Gear Finder to see which pieces can carry the affix.
- Record the final priority in a shareable build rather than relying on memory.
